EXCERPTS FROM THE MOTHER / DAUGHTER TEA AND FASHION SHOW
"MY MOTHER INSTILLED IN ME"...
My Mother instilled in me to always find good in people.
She taught me if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all.
I call my Mom an Angle of the Sea. She introduced the beauty of the ocean to me and always spoke kind words in every situation.
She is the angel on my shoulder.
My Mother always said "find the gift".
Of course, it always went into the longer version of finding something good in every situation.
There is a rainbow that surfaces with every storm and smile with every sunny day.
My Mother instilled in me a love of animals and giving back.
My Mom is very generous with her time; she tirelessly volunteers at the food pantry.
My Mom instilled in me to be smart, kind and caring.
She is always helpful to me and my brother.
My Mother instilled in me, the value of giving and helping others.
She taught me that anything is possible if you want it badly enough.
She also instilled in me the value of throwing everything in the sink when cooking rather than taking two steps to throw stuff in the trash.
My Mother instilled in me a sense of self and history.
My Mother was a wonderful lady who let us be ourselves and make things on our own.
My Mother instilled in me never kill time, live in the moment and savor every minute you have been given.
